[Just two more days. In two days, all their undercover work on the Von Ricard case would come to fruition. He'd be exposed, stripped of his position, and spend his life in prison. Unless they decided to kill him after all. Lord knew he had it coming.
The perfect time for things got complicated.
The blackmailer had only identified themself as "C". C knew who they were, and one word from them would blow the whole operation. They were so close to the finish line, and Rosalia suspected C didn't know that. In other words, the best thing to do was...
Rosalia tried to avoid making contact with her partner more than necessary, for security reasons. So, it was odd enough for her to contact Shadow out of the blue. Even odder was that she asked to meet at a hotel room, rather than somewhere more discreet.
